Peter B. Ritz
Peter is responsible for Xtium's business operations, sales and strategy. With many years experience building technology businesses as a co-founding or key executive, Peter helped companies secure industry recognition, strategic support and private equity funding from leading organizations such as IEEE, 3GSM, Motorola and Goldman Sachs, while driving new technologies to market: NTERA (nanotech digital displays), AirClic (mobile automation/interactive print), Viral Media (animation), Silicon Stemcell (innovation) and Ikon Technology Services (IT systems integration). Earlier, Peter practiced IP law as a registered patent attorney and trial lawyer. In the 1980's, Peter worked on electronic messaging (technology, marketing, sales) with British Telecom and Sprint International. Peter's technical degrees are in Computer Science (BS), Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (BA), University of Maryland.

Tim Vogel
Tim is responsible for Xtium's technology direction and execution. His 19+ years of hands-on expertise in architecting, engineering, securing and managing technology solutions has focused on networking, storage, virtualization and information security. Tim is one of Xtium's original founders responsible for building strong relationships with its eco-system partners VMWare, EqualLogic, Microsoft, Dell and Citrix. His practical approach to IT management is drawn from years of working with many leading companies, including GMAC Mortgage, the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, the Bank of America, Fiserv, Alpo Pet Foods, Compensation Risk Managers, ECRI and the Midlands Companies. Earlier, Tim held several leadership positions with large and mid-sized companies, including AirClic, Zeneca, Bell Atlantic and CGI Systems. Tim holds extensive technical and information security certifications.

Shawn R. Carey
Shawn is responsible for Xtium's technology marketing, sales and total quality operations. With 19+ years of designing, building and managing telecommunications networks, distributed applications and web-based systems, Shawn has deep domain expertise in the financial services and insurance sectors. He has held founding and executive positions with several start-ups, including Executive Technology Center (IT consulting), Swingtide (business process automation) and iPipeline (insurance back office automation), and served in technical and management capacities with Bell Atlantic and Prudential Insurance. Shawn holds a bachelor's degree in computer engineering (Boston University) earned under Naval ROTC scholarship. He served as a communications officer with the US Marine Corps, including tenure on Okinawa, Japan.

Andrea Vogel
Andrea is responsible for Xtium's application intelligence business. With over decade of hands-on, practical experience in database architecture, design, operations and maintenance, Andrea commands comprehensive know-how and expertise in healthcare and insurance business process realization and optimization, including data and regulatory compliance under HIPAA and SOX. She has held several tenures with leading mid-market organizations focused in health care and financial services sectors, comprising The Midlands Management Company (Insurance), i2E Turning Innovation into Enterprise (IT Consulting), ASRM (Reinsurance) and American Agency System, Inc (Insurance). Andrea holds a BS and MBA degrees in Information Management from Oklahoma City University.
